Strawberry lemonade

I am very happy to announce that the technical glitches which tormented my poor nerves for the past few days have been successfully solved, one of my plugins decided to exercise a will of it’s own, and the rest is history (and it only took a couple of chocolate bars for therapy). However,  if you by any chance ever again encounter anything like 403 error on here, please do let me know.

For today, it’s a continuous celebration of the strawberry season. I have people literally pushing them into my hands as I pass through the market, hence no wonder I tend tend to put them in everything these days, like this simple and delicious lemonade.

It only requires a few ingredients; strawberries, lemon and honey for a touch of sweetness and water of course (prosecco or champagne would work wonders too) and voila a fabulous drink to refresh, if you happen to be enjoying warm weather that is (These days, I’d rather go for strawberry tea than anything chilled, but with a little luck and sunshine, a time for coolers may come again).

Note: A little head up for upcoming things here on the blog, from this Saturday (25th May) I’m starting with a new direction and daily posts to come!

  1. Glad your tech problems got solved, those computer ghosts can haunt one right? ;)
mhm I wish I had strawberries in the house, I could have a whole jug full of your lemonade right now.

    • Yes, it’s unbelievable how a small thing like an IT glitch can complicate a life :)

  2. Refreshing and delicious! I wish strawberries weren’t that expensive here…

    Cheers,

    Rosa

  3. Ooh, this sounds like the perfect drink for a long, hot weekend! And we just so happen to have plenty of strawberries kicking around… :)

  4. I love strawberry lemonade…yours look delicious and beautiful pictures…so refreshing!
Have a lovely weekend ahead :)

  5. Gourmantine, I didn’t encounter any technical difficulties at all, but I’ve been pretty hit or miss on commenting. (Family obligations, out of state now & then, weather disruptions, yada yada…) Wow, posting daily is really stepping up your game, but best wishes to you on that! (I’ll still probably only comment sporadically, being a “whenever” blogger, lol, but I’ll be reading with avid interest.) Again, woohoo for sharing your thoughts with the world on a regular basis!

  6. Gorgeous drink! I bet it would taste heavenly with a splash of Tequila ;-)
Don’t mention technical problems… This is the part of blogging I hate. Some problems are simply impossible to resolve (like my server being down from time to time or some bloggers having problems with comments while others not…). I’m glad yours are already resolved.

  7. Technical glitches are such a pain, aren’t they? Glad you solved yours. And I’d be glad to have a glass of this most refreshing lemonade! I haven’t had strawberry lemonade before, and we’re up to our ears in berries. We have a long weekend this weekend, so this should be the time! Thanks for this.

  8. Technical issues are the worst. I use blogger which is nice because there’s hardly ever technical glitches, but it kind of sucks when it comes to customizations, so it’s a double-edged sword. But at least you have this delicious and refreshing lemonade to cure your technical headache :)

  9. Glad to know that the technical problems are gone.
The strawberry lemonade looks very tempting especially when the temperature here has hit 48 degrees C. I could gulp down gallons of it!!

  10. Nice to see you’ve resolved your site problems I think, right Gourmantine? I tried to visit earlier today but kept getting the error you mentioned.

Beautiful summer-time drink. It’s not very summery or warm at all here yet… seems to have rained every day for the last week or more, but as soon as the weather clears up I’ll be all over this refreshing treat!
